John Branch
John Branch is a cartoonist in San Antonio, Texas. He worked full-time at the San Antonio Express-News from 1981 until the spring of 2009 and continues to contribute to the newspaper on a regular basis. He also draws for King Features Syndicate’s political cartoon package.

John Branch has been the editorial cartoonist of the San Antonio Express-News in Texas since 1981.

He began his cartooning career in his home town at the Chapel Hill Newspaper in 1976, the same year he graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in studio art.

His work has been reprinted in The New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek and numerous college newspapers. Samples can be found on the Web at www.mysanantonio.com.

A member and former officer of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists, Branch is the author of Would You Buy a Used Cartoon from this Man? and Out on a Limb.
