Jimmy Margulies is an award-winning nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist whose work is distributed by King Features. His cartoons on New York City issues appear regularly in am New York and Newsday. Margulies has won the Berryman Award from the National Press Foundation, the National Headliner Award, the Fischetti Editorial Cartoon Competition and four Clarion Awards from the Association for Women in Communications.

Jimmy Margulies is an award-winning nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist whose work is distributed by King Features. The New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Time, Newsweek and Business Week are among the many places his cartoons have appeared. He has been featured on CNN, ABC Nightline, PBS and C-Span.

Margulies spent more than 20 years as editorial cartoonist at The Record in northern New Jersey. Prior to working at The Record, he was the editorial cartoonist for The Houston Post as well as for Journal Newspapers of Maryland and Virginia.

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Carnegie Mellon University, and is proud to be on the National Rifle Association blacklist. Margulies is also an accomplished caricaturist, with more than 30 years of experience drawing for parties, retirement gifts, private commissions, etc. He also has done illustrations for many commercial and editorial clients and is a popular public speaker.

He is an avid runner and vintage watch collector. Margulies and his wife, Martha, have two adult children.
