About
Jimmy Margulies is an award-winning nationally syndicatededitorial cartoonist whose work is distributed by King Features. The New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, Los AngelesTimes, Time, Newsweek and BusinessWeek are among the many places his cartoons have appeared. He has beenfeatured on CNN, ABC Nightline, PBS and C-Span.
Margulies spent more than 20 years as editorial cartoonistat The Record innorthern New Jersey. Prior to working atThe Record, he was the editorial cartoonist for The HoustonPost as well as for Journal Newspapers of Maryland and Virginia.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from CarnegieMellon University, and is proud to be on the National Rifle Associationblacklist. Margulies is also an accomplished caricaturist, with more than 30years of experience drawing for parties, retirement gifts, private commissions,etc. He also has done illustrations for many commercial and editorial clientsand is a popular public speaker.
He is an avid runner and vintage watchcollector. Margulies and his wife, Martha, have two adult children.
