The Countess of Comics Kingdom Presents: Celebrating LGBTQ+ Comics: A Pride Month Roundup at Comics Kingdom

As we continue to celebrate Pride during June here at Comics Kingdom, we wanted to take a moment to appreciate and showcase our LGBTQ+ comic strips. These particular comics, with their unique and powerful narratives, have highlighted LGBTQ+ issues and characters, contributing significantly to the diverse representation in the comic industry.
Some comic strips, like “Bizarro” by Wayno & Piraro and “Macanudo” by Liniers, were pioneers in their time, featuring inclusivity long before it was common. Others, such as “Olive & Popeye” by Shadia Amin & Randy Milholland and “Rae the Doe” by Olive Brinker, seamlessly integrate queer characters and storylines into their daily comics, normalizing the presence and narratives of the LGBTQ+ community.
We’re thrilled to be presenting such a diverse range of comic strips that celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Our team believes in the importance of inclusive storytelling, and it’s with great pride that we highlight the incredible work of these talented creators. Happy Pride Month to all from Comics Kingdom! — The Countess (She/They)
