David M. Hitch has been the conservativevoice for the Omaha World-Herald, The Worcester Telegram & Gazette,and The Worcester Sun in a cartooningcareer that has spanned over three decades.
As a junior in high school in Omaha,Nebraska, Hitch won the prestigious Hallmark Nomination, along with aScholastics National Gold Medal in Art, and also won recognition for his workin political cartooning, architectural design and writing. While in college atThe University of Nebraska at Omaha, and beyond, he was honored with TheNational Newspaper Association’s “Best Original Cartoon” Award, as well asseveral Sigma Delta Chi and New England Associated Press Awards forillustration and editorial cartooning.
Married to CindyHitch, with four grown children, the Hitches have called Holden, Massachusettstheir home since 1988.
