Coming to Comics Kingdom: Likes, Vintage Favorites and a Better Reading Experience

We spend a lot of time reading Comics Kingdom too, and we know the best parts of the site are pretty simple: finding a comic you love, catching up on what you missed, and coming back tomorrow for the next one.
We want more of Comics Kingdom to feel that easy.
Starting today, signed-in readers can react to the comics they read with a new feature: Likes.

See something you love? Like it.
Sometimes a comic gets you and there isn’t much more to say.
With Likes, signed-in readers can give a quick reaction to an individual comic directly from the reader.
It’s a small feature, but it gives readers another way to interact with the comics they enjoy and gives us a better understanding of what is connecting with the Comics Kingdom audience.
And no, Likes aren’t replacing comments. If you have something to say, the conversation is still there. This is just another way to react when a comic earns it.
Keeping your vintage favorites in step
We’ve also made a change to help vintage comics move more smoothly through their archives.
Some older archives have missing dates or gaps. In the past, a vintage favorite could reach one of those gaps and stall or skip ahead. Now, each feature follows the comics that are actually available, in order, so your daily reading can keep moving.
As part of this work, we found that the daily favorites email and ComicsKingdom.com may occasionally show neighboring strips from the same feature. We know that can be confusing, especially when you’re following a storyline, and we’re sorry for the mix-up. We’re working to bring the email and website back into step.
In the meantime, you can always visit ComicsKingdom.com for the current strip and the full archive. Every favorite is refreshed daily, so it’s easy to pick up where you left off or spend a little more time with an old favorite. If something still looks off, contact our support team with the feature name and the date you noticed it. We’ll take a closer look.
We’re improving more than the Like button
Likes are part of a larger round of work happening across Comics Kingdom.
We’re continuing to make improvements to how readers find comics, move through episodes and use the site across phones, tablets and desktop computers.
You may notice some of those changes immediately. Others are less obvious, but they all have the same goal: fewer things getting between you and the comic you came here to read.
Making Comics Kingdom more personal
We also want Comics Kingdom to get better at remembering what matters to you.
Your account should do more than simply sign you in. Features like Likes give us a foundation to build a reading experience that feels more useful to each reader, whether you come here every morning or drop in when you have a few weeks of strips to catch up on.
We’ll have more to share there as the work continues.
This is only the beginning
Comics Kingdom has a huge library of comics, decades of history and new work arriving every day and our job is to make all of that easier to enjoy. Likes are available today, and they’re one of the first steps in a larger round of improvements to Comics Kingdom.
So keep reading. Hit Like when something deserves it. And let us know what you think.
