Timeline – 2008 Part 4

By Brian Walker

“Cabin fever” is a term that refers to claustrophobic irritability or restlessness experienced when a person, or group, is stuck at an isolated location or in confined quarters for an extended period of time.

We freqently show the Flagston family trapped in their house during the winter. In the Sunday page above, they decide to redecorate and rearrange the living room to chase away the seasonal blues.

This theme is particularly relevant right now as most of us have been “sheltering at home” during the 2020 pandemic.

We revisted this situation again in 2010 with the kids complaining about spending the weekend inside. A walk outside helps lift the spirits of everyone but Chip.

We hope our readers appreciate a little dose of family humor during these challenging times.
