Timeline – 2003 Part 4

Hi and Lois Sunday page digital proof, October 26, 2003.

We have, on occasion, flashed back to the early days of some of our characters.  It is fun to travel in time and imagine what Hi and Lois might have looked like in their youth.

Here are three panels from a Sunday page that show Hi when he was a boy.

When these panels appeared in 1962, Chip was around fifteen years old and Hi was probably about thirty-five.  In the scenes he looks like he is about eight years old, which would have placed him in the year 1935.  History is very flexible in a comic strip.

Trixie is a baby so she does not have much of a back story.  In the Sunday page above, we fantasized what might happen in her future.  She obviously has very ambitious plans.
