The Reuben Awards are the Oscars of professional cartooning. This past weekend my wife, Karen, and I attended the Reubens in beautiful downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania along with many other members of The National Cartoonists Society. This is a truly wonderful group of people that we are honored to call our friends. Here are some photos from the weekend celebration:

The Philadelphia Free Library held an event called Cartoonapalooza on Sunday, May 27th in the afternoon. hundreds of people came to the library to meet and greet cartoonists and watch them draw. John Rose and John Kovaleski (Daddy Daze) at their table prior to the event.
