Snuffy Smith Chalk Talk And Book Signings In Pigeon Forge, TN!

King Features’ Barney Google and Snuffy Smith Cartoonist, John Rose, will be a guest once again at this year’s Wilderness Wildlife Week in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  Rose will be in East Tennessee promoting his new Snuffy Smith book and presenting:

• Bodacious Cartooning For Kids Workshop (space is limited, requires preregistration), Friday, May 11, 2018 from 4-5 p.m.

A very talented young girl drawing Ol’ Bullet in my Children’s Cartooning Workshop last year in Pigeon Forge.

• A Bodacious Snuffy Smith Chalk Talk — A general audience program where he will speak about his career as a cartoonist, discuss the history of the Barney Google And Snuffy Smith comic strip, show samples of his work and draw the characters a large easel for the audience.  Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Rose will also be signing copies of his book, Snuffy Smith In His Sunday Best, in the exhibit hall both Friday and Saturday. If you would like to purchase a copy of this book, but cannot make it to Rose’s presentations in Tennessee, you can order it here.

Both events will be at the beautiful LeConte Center at 2986 Teaster Lane in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. They are free and open to the public. Please come by and say howdy!
