Farewell to our Archivist!

Hi, all!

We’d like to thank everyone for the outpouring of kind messages and support for our departing Archivist, who is, we hope, enjoying his retirement by reading even more comics. We’re sorry to see him go, too— we’ve learned a lot from him over the years! 

To address a few questions from our commenters: 

The rest of CK is continuing as usual, with some small absences for the winter holidays, and we will have a new feature on Thursdays beginning soon!  And as long as a significant number of you seem to enjoy Vintage Madness, we will keep bringing it back when we are making changes to the vintage selections.  The Archivist’s old posts will continue to exist in the CK blog archives where you can read them any time you wish.

If there are other sorts of content you would like to see on the blog, suggestions for vintage strips you would like us to add to the archive (assuming we have the digital files available to add them!), or questions you’d like us to include in “Ask A Cartoonist,”  you can always reach us on our contact form.  We may not be able to do everything you ask but we love hearing from you!
