There are a couple of fun things going on this week for fans of Snuffy Smith in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia area! First, I have been asked to participate in an art show by the Arts Council Of The Valley, of which I am a volunteer board member. I am one of 32 artists participating in ACV’s 1st Annual Small Works Invitational Art Show, which opens this Friday, December 2nd. Each piece in the show has to be 12″ x 12″ or smaller. There will be an opening reception with snacks at 5:00 this Friday evening (right before the downtown Christmas Parade). My contribution is a black and white original india ink character drawing of Barney Google, Spark Plug and Snuffy Smith. The show will be up through mid January, 2017 and the Arts Council Of The Valley Gallery is located at 311 South Main Street, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Call 540-801-8779 if you have any questions.

I will be signing Books from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This new collection features over 350 of my favorite Snuffy Smith comics from 2013 to 2015. It is priced at $19.50 makes an excellent Christmas present! Call 540-574-6240 if you have any questions. I hope you can come to the signing, but if not, you can always order copies here! Hope to see this week at one of our two fun events!
