It’s Back To School time!
It’s an exciting time of year for everyone– young and old alike– heading back to school. I’ve asked our cartoonists to share their thoughts, advice, and reminiscences on going back into the classroom.
Bill Griffith, Zippy the Pinhead:
My “back to school” days have returned late in my life—I’ve been teaching comics to college kids at the School of Visual Arts in New York for the past five years.
When September rolls around, I get that same fluttery feeling, thinking about classrooms and students and new shoes, only now, I’m the teacher and not the pupil.
Ironic, huh?

Safe Havens is set on a college campus, so Back to School time is always a big event for everyone involved.
