The conclusion of the 2007 summer vacation sequence, above, shows the Flagstons leaving Vagabond Ranch and recaps many of their memorable adventures from the previous week.

I attended the real Vagabond Ranch for two summers in 1965 and 1966. I recently discovered some photos at the current owners’ Facebook page.

Here is Cascade Mountain, which provides the scenic backdrop to the property in Granby, Colorado. I climbed to the summit of this 12, 264 foot peak when I was there.Cascade

Charlie and Lonnie Pavek, who were teachers at Rumsey Hall School in Washington, Connecticut, purchased the property in 1949 and ran the camp for 24 years.Paveks
