Snuffy Smith Chalk Talk on July 12 in Bath County, Va.

The Bath County Public Library is hosting a Snuffy Smith Chalk Talk and Book Signing for Barney Google and Snuffy Smith Cartoonist John Rose. At this event, Rose will talk about the history of the comic strip, show samples of his work and draw some of the strip’s most popular characters on a large easel for the audience.
After his presentation, he will sign copies of his new comic strip collection, Balls Of Fire! More Snuffy Smith Comics. Rose’s new collection features over 350 of his favorite comic strips from 2013-2015. The chalk talk will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
