Photos From HeroesCon 2016!

I had a great time again this year at HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC! Thank you so much to Shelton Drum for inviting me to attend once more as a guest cartoonist. It’s great to see friends, both old and new, and meet and talk with Snuffy Smith fans during this 3-day event! Here are a few photos from HeroesCon 2016:

My great friend, Marcus Hamilton (Dennis The Menace dailies) and I with our finished drawings for the benefit auction.  Marcus is one of the most talented cartoonists I know.  He is also just as nice as he is talented!

My daughter Meredith and I at our Snuffy Smith table. Meredith is a great show runner for both Marcus and I, bringing us food and drinks and helping us out at our tables. Meredith took most of these photos.

One fan asked me to sign the wonderful King Of The Comics: 100 Years Of King Features book alongside many other King Features cartoonists.  It is a beautiful book for anyone who loves comics.

Meredith and I with our good friend, Ian, who traveled from our mutual hometown in Virginia to HeroesCon!  Our families go to church together and our daughters babysit his son and daughter often!
