News Around the Kingdom: Cartoonists Present!

John Rose (“Barney Google & Snuffy Smith”) visited Culpeper Christian in Virginia last Friday at the request of his niece and nephew who attend the school! He easily induced lively laughter from the children who enjoyed his talk and presentation!

Sandra Bell-Lundy (“Between Friends”) will give a free presentation for International Women’s Day at the Grimsby Public Library in Ontario, Canada next month!  It takes place on Thursday, March 3 at 6:30pm!

In other news…

Next month on Thursday, March 3, 4:30pm-5:30pm, the Northeast Georgia History Center in Gainesville, GA will have a tribute/memorial to the late Jack Elrod (“Mark Trail”).  Current “Mark Trail” cartoonist James Allen will speak at the event with stories of his mentor!  The event is free and open to the public!
