Ask A Cartoonist: New Year’s Resolutions!

The year is winding down to a close, and that means it’s time for our New Year’s Resolutions!

Bill Griffith, Zippy the Pinhead:

Zippy’s New Year’s Resolution? Same as every year—Mai-Tai Snorkelfest!

 

John Rose, Barney Google and Snuffy Smith:

I’m sure Elviney and Loweezy would try to stop gossiping as their New Year’s resolution…but that’s NEVER gonna happen!

 

Ron Ferdinand, Dennis the Menace:

This cartoon is strictly high resolution.

Alex Hallatt, Arctic Circle:

After a rather excessive month, I will be cutting back on the pintxos (Basque tapas) and alcohol. I also intend to do a lot more drawing and not just when there is a deadline looming!

My New Years resolution? Pretty easy I guess – I want to continue working to make Mark Trail the best it can be! As for Mark’s New Years resolution – it’s to spend more time with his family, but I have this sneaking suspicion that, like always, “duty calls”!
