Ask A Cartoonist: Thanksgiving Wishes

By Tea Fougner

Happy Thanksgiving, All!  Today, I asked our cartoonists to share what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving season!

Alex Hallatt, Arctic Circle:

I’m grateful for having a job that let’s me work anywhere in the world with an internet connection. I’m spending the year in Hondarribia in Spain with my partner and dog. Next year, we will be returning to New Zealand. We are extraordinarily lucky.

Brian Walker, Hi and Lois:

I wrote a blog post on HiandLois.com to talk about past Thanksgiving comics-– take a look!

John Hambrock, The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee:

I’m grateful for family, friends, and mashed potatoes.

John Rose, Barney Google and Snuffy Smith:

This Thanksgiving, like every Thanksgiving before, Snuffy Smith is thankful that his wife, Loweezy, is such a great cook!

Bill Bettwy, Take it from the Tinkersons:

Hopefully everyone has a better time finding something they like to eat this Thanksgiving than Tillman is having in this animated short!

Ron Ferdinand, Dennis the Menace:

Take your time, George. We’ve got all day.

Bill Holbrook, On the Fastrack:

Dethany of “On the Fastrack” is grateful that her raven Lenore has found a companion and has hatched an adopted egg. Meanwhile, geneticists Rupert and Rosalind of “Safe Havens” give thanks for the birth of their child Gregor, who has the unique ability to conduct photosynthesis…even in November.

Mort Walker, Beetle Bailey:
