Are You Ready Fer Some Football?!

In my family, we are all football fans!  My wife, my daughters, my sister-in-law, brother-in-law, my nieces and I follow James Madison University; my parents, my brothers and their families follow Virginia Tech; my mother-in-law follows University Of Virginia; and we all follow the Washington Redskins. From time to time, we mention sports in Hootin’ Holler. In celebration of the start of another football season I thought I’d post one of my favorite football-related Barney Google and Snuffy Smith comic strips from the past.  Whatever football team you follow, I hope you have a great season!
