News Around The Kingdom: BIZARRO and SIX CHIX Celebrate Anniversaries

by The King

Greetings Comics Royals!

This week marked the 30th Anniversary of “Bizarro!” Congratulations and many thanks to Dan Piraro for entertaining his loyal legion of fans, who he fondly refers to as “Jazz Pickles,” for three decades! We hope Dan keeps making all of us laugh (and think) with his hilarious comic for many more years to come! Fans who are interested in seeing the early days of “Bizarro” may view Dan’s early work in this week’s “Ask the Archivist” post, which is dedicated exclusively to “Bizarro” reaching this momentous milestone.

Dan reminisces on his comic’s humble beginnings and shares his first publicity photo (it’s a keeper!) on his blog.
