News Around the Kingdom: BABY BLUES Anniversary
Greetings Comics Royals!
This week, Comics Kingdom proudly kicked off the start of an important and impressive anniversary year. “Baby Blues” reached a momentous milestone by marking its’ 25th anniversary in syndication. Since it first appeared on the newspaper comics pages in 1990, “Baby Blues” has enchanted new parents, grandparents, and kids alike with its humor and spot-on depictions of raising children and navigating tricky parental dilemmas.
Cartoonists Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott hope that the inherent hopefulness and gentle humor in “Baby Blues” will continue to give their readers a little extra lift in their day for another 25 years to come. To see a commemorative celebration of the comic’s 25th Anniversary, a “Best of Baby Blues” collection of comics was posted on Tuesday. Fans can also read more about Jerry and Rick’s reaction to “Baby Blues” turning 25 here.
