Bodaciously Berenstain!!

Over the weekend I was fortunate to meet Mike Berenstain, the author and illustrator of The Berenstain Bears books!  He was in my area signing copies of his latest book, The Berenstain Bears Thanksgiving All Around.  I have read these books for as long as I can remember, so it was quite an honor to get to meet him!  He worked with and learned from his parents for many years before he took over the Bears, like I worked with and learned from Fred Lasswell, so we had a few things in common.   What a day it was–I could BEAR-ly contain my excitement!
