This week, nearly 140,000 hardcore comics fans are expected to descend on the Jacob Javits Center in New York City for the East Coast’s largest and most exciting pop culture convention! Come back to Comics Kingdom on Monday, where we will offer a recap and photos from this weekend’s highly anticipated New York Comic Con events!
In fact, Comics Kingdom started celebrating early with a series of blog posts leading up to New York Comic Con! From this week’s Editor’s Dispatch and “Ask A Cartoonist” to Tuesday’s Top Ten Comics on costumes and superheroes, Comics Kingdom is on full Comic Con detail, celebrating what makes this increasingly popular annual event so unique and the hottest ticket in town. David Reddick created a special series of Comic Con-related “Intelligent Life” strips this week, featuring lots of cosplay fun and cameos of some of David’s favorite characters in webcomics, TV, comic books and more.
