Once again, the Dennis the Menace creative team lends their support to America’s PrepareAthon, a community-based campaign for a day of action, coordinated by FEMA to increase emergency preparedness and resilience through hazard-specific drills, group discussions and exercises.
In the September 30, 2014, Dennis the Menace comic panel, cartoonist Marcus Hamilton drew a panel that stated the importance of having the basic essentials on hand in the event of a unforeseeable disaster or weather event.
Scott Ketcham, the son of Dennis the Menace creator Hank Ketcham, drew the original sketch from which Marcus created the daily cartoon. In the past, two additional America’s PrepareAthon cartoons were created by Sunday cartoonist Ron Ferdinand.
What do you do to prepare for an unexpected event or storm prep?
