Tuesday’s Top Ten: Tree Comics!

by The King

Every Tuesday, we post 10 comics on a theme.

August is Tree Check Month and Mark Trail is joining with the USDA to help teach us about the dangers of the Asian Longhorned Beetle, and how we can check our trees for infestation and prevent the spread of this deadly insect.

So to celebrate Tree Check Month, today we are sharing ten comics about trees:

1. Bizarro shows us trees talking to each other about the after-life:

2. It can be “tough” to know where to plant a tree, as this Beetle Bailey comic demonstrates:
3. A lullaby about a treetop? Wanda from Baby Blues thinks that is insane:
4. The Mutts gang is bird-watching, high above:
5. In this Rhymes with Orange, these insects are having trouble in the tree-tops:
6. Dustin and his little friend discuss the treehouse market:
7. What kind of trees are shy? Dolly from Family Circus explains:

8. In the forest, what happens when two roads diverge? This Six Chix strip tells us:

9. It’s tough to find Beetle Bailey hidden among the trees:

10. And finally, what does Grimmy from Mother Goose & Grimm think is as lovely as a tree?:
