News Around the Kingdom: Comic Strip Critic Week!

by The King

Welcome back to the Comics Kingdom Blog! I’m your Comic Strip Critic, and today marks the end of my week hosting here on the blog.

To recap, on Monday I shared a video interview with David Reddick of Intelligent Life, on Tuesday we looked at top ten comics about critics, on Wednesday cartoonists chatted about constructive criticism, and on Thursday I asked the Archivist a question about Toonerville Trolley.

Thank you all for letting me host this week! If you enjoyed my style, then please follow what I’m doing on The Punchline by subscribing to the show on YouTube or Blip. I’m your Comic Strip Critic, and I’ll see you in the funny pages!

And now, on to what our cartoonists have been blogging about this week!

Rina Piccolo (“Tina’s Groove”) has been having a very unusual week in the world of Tina’s Groove. Check out all her blog posts this week to get in on the fun, starting with Monday’s post here!

Jonathan Mahood (“Bleeker the Rechargeable Dog”) shows us where he spotted Bleeker out in the wild

Karen Moy (“Mary Worth”) gives us a glimpse behind the curtain of how a Sunday strip is made

Dan Piraro (“Bizarro”) shares the latest installment of fan-favorite Sunday Punnies

Alex Hallatt (“Arctic Circle”) has one more weekend left of her Open Studio

David Reddick (“Intelligent Life”) shows a comic strip in progress with Gwen

John Rose (“Barney Google and Snuffy Smith”) shares how excited readers were to see Bizzy Buzz Buzz visit the strip last week

Jeff Parker (“Dustin”) did not need to search for pictures of a messy desk to draw one…

And finally, there is only one Tillman bobblehead left! Head on over to Take it from the Tinkersons to enter for your chance to win it!

See you all next week, Comics Kingdom Royalty! And a very special thank you to the Comic Strip Critic for making this week on the Comics Kingdom blog so much fun!
