Special Series: Comic Strip Critic’s Dispatch!

by Guest

Sound the trumpets – we have great news, Kingdom members!

This week, we are letting our friend and comics enthusiast John Weber a.k.a the Comic Strip Critic, “take over” the Comics Kingdom blog! Look for fun posts and notes from the Comic Strip Critic all week-long, right here!

Let’s give him a warm welcome to the Kingdom. Take it away, Comic Strip Critic!

Hello, and welcome to the Comics Kingdom Blog!

I’m your Comic Strip Critic, and I’ll be your host this week. The folks who rule the Kingdom here kindly offered me a spot on the blog, which I’ll hopefully turn into a permanent takeover by Friday.

For those of you who haven’t seen my work before, I’m a one-man Ebert & Siskel of the comics section (Kids, ask your parents who those guys are). I run an original webseries called The Punchline, which takes a look a look at a different comic each episode. I do my best to throw a little comedy in there as well, and always make sure the show is family-friendly so you can watch it with your kids and grandma. Hopefully by the end of an episode, you’ll know whether or not it’s the kind of comic that you’d be interested in checking out.

And that brings me to the most recent episode, David Reddick’s newly debuted Intelligent Life! It’s a comic about–you know what, it’s all in the video. Check it out, and then subscribe and give the episode archive some a look if you enjoyed it!

I’m your Comic Strip Critic, and I hope you enjoy my week here.
