Snuffy Smif…In Disney World?!

By Jeremy Meltingtallow

Recently, I had a few Snuffy Smith Cartooning Chalk Talk speaking engagements in The Villages, Florida and Palm Coast, Florida. I scheduled these talks over our daughters’ college spring breaks, so we packed up the family and headed to Florida  (hoping to escape the harsh Virginia winter we’ve had this year!). For me, no visit to Florida is complete without a visit to Disney World. Here are some photos from our recent trip:

I was bodaciously surprised when I walked into the Main Street USA Fire Station at The Magic Kingdom to see a fire department patch featuring Snuffy Smith displayed on the wall! It just goes to show that you never know where or when you'll run into Snuffy Smith! Disney animation has always fascinated me! Sarah and I took some Disney Character Drawing classes while we were in Florida. Here she is posing with the Mickey Mouse she drew. I think she did a great job! I am a huge Disney fan!  Disney animation has always fascinated me. Sarah and I took some Disney Character Drawing classes from Disney artists. In total we drew three characters each. Here she is posing with the Mickey Mouse she drew.  I think she did a great job!
