Happy New Year!

By Jeremy Meltingtallow

New Year’s Eve parties are fun for young adults but for parents with children, they can be a challenge.  Baby sitters are hard to find and need to be relieved shortly after midnight.   It is often easier just to stay home and go to bed early.

The Flagstons’ next-door neighbors, the Thurstons, don’t have any kids so they can’t always understand the demands of parenting.  In this episode from 2000, the Thurstons are hosting a New Year’s Eve party, but are disappointed when all their guests depart so quickly.
