Bizarro is brought to you today by Must-See New Year’s Eve Concert.
Welcome to the 33th installment of Bizarro’s Sunday Punnies, the cartoons which come from puns donated by readers. This week, we congratulate Jazz Pickles Ed Saugstad, Coke Ellington, and a guy who claims his name is Mike Pryzgoda. There are no words for the pride they feel today.
IF YOU’D LIKE TO SUBMIT A PUN FOR A FUTURE EDITION OF SUNDAY PUNNIES AND EXPERIENCE THE ECSTASY THIS BRINGS, FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE RULES:
1. Leave your pun in the comments section of this (or any) post. YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR PUN SUGGESTION APPEAR IN THE COMMENTS SECTION because I don’t want to ruin the fun for readers if I should choose it. I Will read it and save it for consideration, but I will not post it.
2. Tell me how you’d like to be credited. Anything goes, other than “obscenities,” a concept I don’t believe in but most people do and I like to keep this blog “safe” for kids for commercial reasons.
3. Send me a gift basket of single-malt scotch, expensive cigars, and an assortment of vegan treats. (NOTE: This will NOT increase your chances of having your pun chosen for a future installment, but I will enjoy your gift and think of you often.)
That’s all there is to it, Jazz Pickles. Get punny.
For you historians, here are the first two Sunday Punnies. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into American life back in 2009. Someday, anthropologists will be thankful for this post.
