Since I’ve been with King Features there have been two ways to view Arctic Circle (and other KF strips) every day online. You could look at it for free on a newspaper site, or you could pay for premium access to bigger strips and more archived material at Daily Ink (which we cartoonists get for free – one of the perks of the job).
Although I love my Daily Ink, I enjoyed seeing more feedback at a newspaper site. I’m hoping that the newest offering from King will give the best of both world. ComicsKingdom.com has gone live. It showcases all King Features Comics for free and you can comment on them, just as you do here and other, newspaper sites.
For a small annual subscription fee, you can join Comics Kingdom Royal, the premium service. As a member of Comics Kingdom Royal, you’ll have access to even more great stuff—like your own custom comics page, daily email delivery, a scrapbook where you can save your favorite comics, vintage comics and more. If you were a DailyINK member, your account is waiting for you at Comics Kingdom Royal, with all of your favorites saved just the way you left them.
