Speakin’ To Th’ Lions

John Rose, cartoonist of BARNEY GOOGLE AND SNUFFY SMITH, will be giving a chalk talk presentation at the Lions Club District 24-A Fall Conference. The chalk talk will take place in the Embassy Suites, Dulles North at Ashburn, VA on Saturday evening, October 26, 2013. After a brief talk about his career, Rose will show examples of the popular long-running King Features’ comic strip and show the audience how he draws some of the strip’s most famous and beloved characters. The theme for the Lions Club weekend conference is: “Focus On Your Health: Laughter Is The Best Medicine.”
