SURVIVAL TIPS – TWEETIE – (field trips)
It’s field trip season! And that’s good….and bad.
It’s GOOD because it gets you out of school.
It’s BAD because you are still surrounded by the same bunch of idiots.
So if you want to make it through this day without punching someone or a wall, remember these three very important things.
1. Make sure to have a fully charged ipod. Maybe the most important item. I just don’t know if it would be possible to do this without it.
2. If you are brown-bagging it, do NOT pack a sandwich with mayo on it. Not exactly sure how long mayo stays fresh, but apparently the turning point is somewhere in between boarding the bus and lunch time.
3. One friend…or at least one person you can tolerate. Make nice to someone a week or two leading up to the trip because on a bus you have to sit in pairs or you will end up sitting beside a teacher…which is even worse. Because now not only do you have to talk to someone, but now you have to talk to someone with coffee breath and a fake interest in your life.
Listen, doing these things won’t make your trip to the state capital, museum, or tree farm actually fun, but it will help make it less annoying.
