Today’s Sunday comic was fun to draw. I love coming up with weird characters, especially on a subway (which is rife with them, at least in NYC where I used to live), but my favorite part is the overhead adverts. By the way, for any of you “compassionate eaters” out there who look for “free range chicken,” don’t believe it. The legal standard for calling a chicken free range is so low that the poor birds are only microscopically more comfortable than the ones living in small cages and, of course, they end up in the same brutal slaughterhouse as any other chicken. If you care about animals, my recommendation is not to buy anything made from an animal product of any kind or you’ll be subsidizing animal cruelty. Pretty much guaranteed.
