Dogboy Eye Penalty

You younger Jazz Pickles who’ve not heard of anything that didn’t happen during your own lifetime may be mystified by this cartoon. It is a combination of two famous early-20th-century pop stars: Tintin and Rin Tin Tin. Tintin is a comic character from Belgium, Rin Tin Tin was a canine movie star.

This second cartoon is about a visit to an eye doctor. The balls inside my eye sockets used to work really well but like most homo sapiens over 40, they don’t work so hot anymore so I have to pay people to build corrective windows to look through. I happen to look pretty awesome in these contraptions, so I don’t really mind. I hear they now make little tiny windows (without frames!) that sit right on the surface of your eye-socket balls, but I’ve never tried them. As a rule, I don’t like to shove foreign objects into my eyes.

As I sit on my sunny back patio typing this post, I find myself sincerely hoping that viewing these drawings of mine has made you smile.
