We are saddened to report that veteran cartoonist Eduardo Barreto has passed away. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends and fans.

“Eduardo was a wonderful talent, and we at King Features feel fortunate to have worked with him,” said Brendan Burford, King Features Comics Editor.” His work on JUDGE PARKER, and more recently on THE PHANTOM was memorable and brought a tremendous amount of taste to those great comic strips. He will be missed.”
