Sunday Punnies #18

Today’s cartoon is #18 in a series, as the title suggests. Every month or six weeks, I create a Sunday cartoon out of the bazillions of puns readers send to me. I choose ones that seem original and amusing to me, as well as present an opportunity for a fun graphic.

Congratulations today goes out to Brian Leahy, Carrie O., and Sandro Barnes.

If you’d like to submit a pun, do so in the comments section of this post. Keep in mind that YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR PUN SUGGESTION IN THE COMMENTS SECTION because I don’t post them. I read them, then save them for consideration. I don’t want to ruin the fun for readers later, nor do I want to embarrass you publicly if you post a really dumb one. So feel free to be as dumb as you like.

HERE ARE THE RULES:

1. When you post your pun, you are assuring me it is your own idea (as far as you know).

2. You are giving me the pun idea free of charge, with no hope of ever seeing a nickle from it, even if it is later turned into a hit Broadway musical. (Which has never happened.)

3. Leave me your preferred credit line.

That’s all there is to it. The odds of your idea getting into a future installment of Bizarro Sunday Punnies is pretty good if I like the pun, and about the same as winning the lottery if I don’t. But feel free to post; no one will see it but me and I’m too nice of a guy to tell you if I think it stinks. :o)
