Melbourne’s Pigeon Hotel

I’ve been working on a series (to run in June) on pigeons, so I was intrigued when I cycled past this in Melbourne city centre:

It’s a full-on pigeon hotel and the only area of the city where you are allowed to feed the pigeons. Sounds too good to be true (if you are a pigeon)? Well, yes – it’s not quite the Hotel California, but even though you can leave, those offspring you laid never will…
