Bizarro is brought to you today by Scary Easter Eggs.

I can’t believe I have done 14 Sunday Punnies! Seems like only yesterday that I began the occasional, once-ever-six-weeks-or-so series. But in fact, the first one appeared during the Spanish American War.

For newcomers: My “Bizarro’s Sunday Punnies” series is made up of puns submitted by readers. If you’d like to submit a pun, do so in the comments section of this post. Here are the rules:

1. Must be your original idea, or that of a consenting acquaintance. Do NOT submit one that you saw on the Internet or in a book. I keel you dade.

2. Fully realize that you will NOT get any compensation for your pun whether I use it or not. You just get to say “I did that” when it comes out in the paper.

3. Tell me what name you want me to put at the bottom of your idea if I use it. First OR last, but not both. It gets to be too much copy.

4. Be aware that I don’t publish the comments with puns in them, so as not to show ones I plan to use in the future. I read ALL of the comments, however, so I WILL see your submission, even if it never appears in the comments section on your screen.

That’s it. Hope you enjoy the process!

NOTE ABOUT TODAY’S GAG: “Haute” is pronounced like “oat” here – not like “hot,” as many American’s do.
