Cover Designs: Final Steps

By Jeremy Meltingtallow

After all of ideas, elements, notes and opinions were combined, here’s where the cover finally arrived.

Jim and I are pleased with the results. On the final-final version small details will be cleaned up and none of the face “tiles” will be repeated. I guess its time to get busy isolating more faces and making the additional 100 or so more tiles that we’ll need to complete the frame on the cover and wallpaper the back cover. Look for it in bookstores this fall. Painful as the design process can be, it’s important to muddle through the chaos of it with an open mind and with the faith that everything will eventually work out okay in the end. It’s a little like raising a teenager, but with profit potential.
