News Around the Kingdom: Ice Bucket Challenge Edition

This week, the talk around the Kingdom has been feverish on the phenomenally popular ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that has taken over social media and raised millions of dollars for the ALS Association. In fact, several of Comics Kingdom's cartoonists and characters have taken the challenge themselves.

Cartoonists Jeff Parker and Steve Kelley (“Dustin”) were among the first to incorporate the challenge into their comic and editorial cartoon work

Even Dustin Kudlick rose to the challenge! After getting doused by his all-too agreeable and willing father, Ed, Dustin challenged his comics' bretheren, Edison Lee of “The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee” and Daryl MacPherson, the father in “Baby Blues,” to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Others who have accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge, include: Hilary Price (“Rhymes With Orange”), Popeye and Betty Boop!

As for The King of Comics Kingdom himself, he didn’t want to get his velvet robe wet! Royals can be precious like that! He did, however, make a donation to the ALS Association as per the rules of the challenge.
