Quincy

Making its debut in 1970, Quincy features an integrated cast of racially diverse neighborhood kids who hang out together. The series focused on the inner-city childhood of a poor boy living with his grandmother. The strip is evocatively written and drawn by pioneer black cartoonist, Ted Shearer.
