Editor's Dispatch: Talking Politics!

U.S. politics are sure heating up! The Republican and Democratic conventions have passed, we have nominees for both major parties, and that means it's time to turn our attention toward Comics Kingdom's amazing editorial cartoonists!

Last week, Mike Peters attended the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio and reported back-- in comic form!

But we've also got a ton of editorial cartoonists of every political stripe, commenting on the U.S. election from either side of the aisle-- and some from a whole different room!  If you love politics, there's never been a better time to check them out.

It's also a good time to remind folks that during heated political campaigns, conversations in the comments section can get similarly heated.  While we never delete comments based on the opinions expressed therein, we do delete comments that include name-calling of any kind, so while you are free to debate your views with other readers, the minute you call them stupid, or use an epithet to refer to groups of people who share similar opinions, you risk having your comments deleted. Please always try to be polite, even when you disagree.  If you need a refresh on our comment policy, you can find it here!

We welcome your comments, but the following things are not permitted: vulgar or explicit language, name-calling, threats, and any language that insults a person’s race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, or disability. Please try to use correct spelling, punctuation, and capitalization as much as possible.

Technical questions and requests should be reported with the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.
