News Around the Kingdom: April Fools' Day, Robotics Week and NCS Nominations

Greeting Kingdom Royalty!

It has been a busy week in the Kingdom with April Fools' Day and the start of baseball season. Did you enjoy our little "Scratch-n-Sniff" gag? It s also Awards season, so we are very pleased to announce that three of our cartoonists have earned nominations for their cartooning work.

Congratulations to Terri Libenson (“The Pajama Diaries”) and Isabella Bannerman (“Six Chix”) on getting the news that their cartooning work has been nominated by the National Cartoonists Society (NCS) for “Best Newspaper Cartoon Panel of the Year.” Hilary Price also received a nomination for “Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year” for her stellar work on “Rhymes With Orange.”


This is the last week to donate to the Kenosha Festival of Cartooning. No amount is too small. Sandra Bell Lundy shares why this event is so special to her here and John Hambrock shares links on his Edison Lee blog on how and where you can make a donation
